Zhuang medicine is the traditional medicine of Zhuang people. It is based on the ancient Luoyue culture and Lingnan culture, with Yin and Yang as the foundation, Qiaowu (brain) as the main God, man and earth three Qi synchronization, viscera, flesh and blood as the body, airway, Valley Road, waterway "three roads" and dragon road, fire road "two roads" as the use of national traditional medicine.

Medicated thread moxibustion is one of the external treatment methods of Zhuang medicine. The medicine thread used by Zhuang medicine is made of Ramie with diameters of 0.25 mm, 0.7 mm and 1 mm. It is soaked in medicine solution and dried for standby. When used, the medicine thread is ignited and the acupoints on the body surface of the patients are ignited, so as to dredge the Longlu and Huolu. It has the functions of dispelling wind and relieving arthralgia, relieving pain and itching, promoting blood circulation and removing blood stasis, and eliminating swelling and resolving knots. In this therapy, ramie thread and soaking liquid medicine are all made from local materials. The prescription of herbal liquid medicine is based on Zhuang medicine theory. The selected acupoints include plum blossom, lotus, eldest son and experience points, and can also be used as acupuncture points of traditional Chinese medicine.

There are more than 16 million Zhuang people in China, mainly distributed in Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region and Wenshan Zhuang Autonomous Prefecture of Yunnan Province. Zhuang medicine is mainly used by Zhuang people, and the Miao, Yao, Dong and other nationalities in the surrounding areas also exchange and cross use.
