Introduction to traditional Chinese medicine health preservation (Lingyuan WANYING tea)
Applicant: Jinjiang City, Fujian Province
According to traditional Chinese medicine, the life and health of human body is the process of adaptation between human and nature, and the change process of life, growth, growth, aging and development of human body. Disease is the result of the imbalance of internal and external environment. There are three causes: the first is the external cause, which refers to the impact of natural climate change; the second is the internal cause, which refers to the disorder of the body's self-regulation; the third is the non internal and external cause, which refers to the invasion of accidental injury, and the internal cause plays a major role. Therefore, traditional Chinese medicine attaches great importance to the active maintenance, regulation and prevention of the human body, which is also called "taking care of life". The thought of keeping in good health should run through one's life, but it is particularly important to keep in good health before one gets sick.
The content of TCM health preservation includes living environment, daily life, mental health and prevention before disease. According to Huangdi Neijing, "people in ancient times, who knew the Tao, learned from Yin and Yang, and were in harmony with the number of skills. They ate and drank regularly, lived in a regular way, and did not work rashly. Therefore, they were able to form with the spirit and end their life.". It means that life should conform to the way of heaven and earth, conform to the changes of climate; diet should be moderate, food and drink should be raised; life should be regular, sex should not be excessive; work and rest should be combined to maintain physical and mental health. In the life practice of later generations, people have created a lot of methods and experience of health care, diet conditioning and "preventive treatment of disease", constantly enriching the content of TCM health care.
Lingyuan WANYING tea, a time-honored Chinese tea, was developed by musao, the thirty first eminent monk of Lingyuan temple in Jinjiang, Fujian Province. It was founded in 1368, the first year of Hongwu in Ming Dynasty, and has a history of more than 630 years. Master musao collected 17 kinds of unique herbal medicines, such as camellia, ghost needle, Artemisia annua, Feiyang herb, Jue bed, wild licorice and Mohanlian, and made them into "Bodhi pill" with elaborate processing of traditional Chinese medicine to save the world and the people. After more than 600 years of deduction, inheritance and development, "Bodhi pill" has become today's "Lingyuan WANYING tea". The medicinal tea has the functions of dispersing wind and relieving exterior, regulating stomach and spleen, eliminating phlegm and dampness. It has significant curative effect on cold and fever, heatstroke dysentery, abdominal pain, vomiting and diarrhea, and is an ideal medicinal tea for heatstroke prevention and cooling. In order to understand the sufferings of the local people, for 600 years, monks and nuns in the temple have inherited this secret recipe from generation to generation, adhering to the Buddhist monk's ambition of "giving alms to all people, not seeking for any reward". Later, monks in the temple returned to the common customs and taught the secret recipe and its making method to the people of Lingshui and Zenglin villages. Therefore, Lingyuan WANYING tea has become a necessary good product for people in Southern Fujian, especially in coastal areas, to prevent diseases and improve health.
Although Lingyuan WANYING tea has been produced on a large scale, under the impact of Western medicine and traditional Chinese medicine, Lingyuan WANYING tea has not got rid of the endangered fate and needs to be protected by the state.
