The custom of catching fish in winter in Chagannur is popular in the surrounding areas of chaganhu lake and Yueliangpao in qianguoerdos Mongolian Autonomous County of Jilin Province. Chagan Lake is one of the seven largest freshwater lakes in China. It is called "Chagannur" in Mongolian, which means "White Lake" and "holy lake".
