A brief introduction to Shaoxing intonation:
Applicant: Shaoxing City, Zhejiang Province
Shaoxing CI tune, also known as "Huadiao" and "Huaci", is popular in Shaoxing City and its surrounding areas. In the Ming and Qing Dynasties, there are records of Shaoxing's rap, Tanci and nanci in many materials, which shows that Shaoxing's folk rap art at that time was mature and laid the foundation for the final finalization of Shaoxing's Ci tune.
Shaoxing tunes are mostly sung on festive occasions. The artists perform in different roles by sitting and singing. They sing and play by themselves. The artistic features of Shaoxing tunes are elegant and popular, bright and cheerful, and festive. Shaoxing CI tune singing can be divided into three grades, five grades, seven grades and nine grades. The singing styles include "Suoyi Pu", "bendiao" and "shizidiao". In addition, there are a few minor folk songs. "Coir raincoat tune" is the basic melody, which can be used in lyric narration; some changing sentence patterns and the tunes in "cross tune" seem to be broken and continuous when they are used, and complement each other with continuous accompaniment.
Shaoxing has more than 20 traditional tunes, such as "Three Kingdoms", "Water Margin", "Leifeng Pagoda South Ci", etc. these works have popular diction, beautiful melody, rich melody, unique style and high artistic value. The existing repertoire, tunes, tunes, accompaniment music and singing forms all prove that Shaoxing CI tune is a branch of Tanci in Jiangnan, a continuation of Zhejiang rap art in Shaoxing in Ming and Qing Dynasties, and has high research value in language, folk custom, social history and so on. At present, with the death of the old artists, Shaoxing CI tune gradually disappeared, on the verge of extinction, in urgent need of rescue and protection.
