Applicant: dongwuzhumuqin banner, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region
Lele cart is a Mongolian ox cart, also known as windlass cart, Luoluo cart and ox cart. "Lele" used to be the voice of herdsmen calling for animals. LeLeChe is a kind of transportation made to adapt to the natural environment of the northern grassland and the living habits of the Mongolian people. It is still visible in the East Wuzhumuqin banner and its surrounding areas.
The origin of Leche can be traced back to the "Yuanfu" recorded in Hanshu. For more than 2000 years from the Qin and Han Dynasties to the 1970s and 1980s, Leche has always been the most important means of transportation for grassland herdsmen, known as the "boat of Grassland", playing a huge role in Mongolian production and life.
Le Le Che is the mobile home of herdsmen. "When you walk, the car is the room, and when you stop, the carpet is the house.". It has a small body and big two wheels. It is made entirely of birch, pine, willow and elm. It does not need iron parts. It is easy to manufacture and repair, and it is easy to walk on the grassland. It is known as "flying on grass". In addition to carrying felt houses, materials and domestic water, it is also commonly used as a war vehicle to carry the army's supplies in wartime.
With the rapid development of economy, Le Le Che has been gradually replaced by motor vehicles. Except for a few remote areas where there are herdsmen, it is difficult to see it on the grassland. Most of the artists who master the technique of Leche are old and lack of successors. Therefore, this traditional technique is in urgent need of rescue and protection. Dongwu banner is located in the hinterland of Xilinguole grassland, one of the four grasslands. At present, there are still a certain number of Leche with complete types. It has the conditions to protect the manufacturing skills of Leche. The relevant parties should work quickly according to the specific local conditions.
