Hanyang Guiyuan temple fair is a traditional folk cultural space held regularly in Guiyuan temple, Hanyang District, Wuhan City, Hubei Province.
Guiyuan Temple belongs to Cao Dongzong, also known as "Guiyuan Temple". It is a key cultural relic protection unit in Hubei Province. It was built in 1685. In the middle of Qing Dynasty, Hanyang temple fair was well-known. Every year around the Spring Festival, many pilgrims come to pray for blessings, and the most popular is the ninth day of the first month. The combination of blessing ceremony and folk activities is the characteristic of the temple fair.
Guiyuan temple fair in Hanyang is the epitome of the local folk life, which enriches the cultural life of the local people, and has the research value of religion, folklore and history.
