The Management Committee of Yingkou Liaohe Economic Development Zone (formerly the Management Committee of Yingkou small and medium-sized enterprise entrepreneurship Park) was established in April 2008. It is located in the main urban area of Yingkou City, Liaoning Province, close to the east side of Zhuanglin Road (municipal road) of national highway 305, and adjacent to Liaoning (Yingkou) coastal industrial base in the southwest. It is 50km away from Bayuquan port area of Yingkou port, 12km away from Yingkou station of Harbin Dalian high-speed railway, 12km away from Yingkou station of Yingkou Koulanqi airport is 15 kilometers long, with a total planning area of 30 square kilometers. The planned area of phase I is 10 square kilometers, including 5.58 square kilometers for the start-up area and 4.42 square kilometers for the South expansion area. In February 2009, the park was identified by the provincial government as a key coastal support area, in December 2009 by the Provincial Department of small and medium sized enterprises as the provincial business incubator base, in December 2012 by the Ministry of industry and information technology as the national public service demonstration platform for small and medium sized enterprises, in October 2013 by the Provincial Department of science and technology as the provincial science and technology business incubator, and in December 2016 by the Ministry of industry and information technology as the national small and micro business incubator In October 2017, the innovation demonstration base was identified as a provincial Development Zone by the provincial government, renamed as Yingkou Liaohe Economic Development Zone, and the Laobian automobile protection industrial park was merged into Yingkou Liaohe economic development zone. At present, more than 260 enterprises have settled in the park. The Park focuses on the development of three leading industries: Automobile and auto parts and related industries, deep processing of agricultural and sideline products, and modern logistics.
