Xinhe street is located in the east gate of Anqing City, adjacent to the Yangtze River sightseeing belt in the south, the Great Lake Scenic Area in the north, Huazhong road street in the West and Longshi Township in the East. Anqing Yangtze River Bridge, national highway 206 and Wanjiang Avenue all pass through the jurisdiction. There are Municipal Gymnasium, science and Technology Museum, beautiful Lianhu scenic area, Dawning group and Nanfang group. With a total area of 4.4 square kilometers, there are 6 communities, more than 7433 households and a population of about 25000. There are 34 enterprises and institutions under the jurisdiction, 1 organ Party branch, 2 community party committees, 2 community general Party branches and 2 community party branches under the jurisdiction of the street Party Working Committee. There are 1822 party members in the community, including 427 directly managed party members and 1395 non directly managed party members.
