Qiaoxian Town, belonging to Shanglin County, Nanning City, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, is located in the northeast of Shanglin County, adjacent to Mushan Township in the East, Sanli town in the south, Xiyan town in the West and Xincheng County in Laibin City in the north. The administrative area of Qiaoxian town is 127.78 square kilometers. By the end of 2018, Qiao Xian had 37084 registered residence.

In 1953, Qiaoxian township was changed into Qiaoxian district. In 1958, Qiaoxian district was changed into Qiaoxian commune. In 1962, Qiaoxian commune was changed into Qiaoxian district. In 1969, Qiaoxian District reformed Qiaoxian commune. In 1984, Qiaoxian commune was changed into Qiaoxian township. In 1987, Mushan township was established. In August 1998, Qiaoxian township was replaced by Qiaoxian town. As of June 2020, Qiaoxian town has jurisdiction over one community and eight administrative villages. The town people's government is stationed in Qiao Xianwei.

In 1953, Qiaoxian township was changed into Qiaoxian district.

In 1958, Qiaoxian district was changed into Qiaoxian commune.

In 1962, Qiaoxian commune was changed into Qiaoxian district.

In 1969, Qiaoxian District reformed Qiaoxian commune.

In 1984, Qiaoxian commune was changed into Qiaoxian township.

In 1987, Mushan township was established.

In August 1998, Qiaoxian township was replaced by Qiaoxian town.
