Jingyue Street

Jingyue street is located in the southeast of Changchun City, formerly known as Jingyue town. In November 2001, it was withdrawn from the town to set up a sub district office. It is named because it is close to the beautiful Jingyue lake and belongs to Changchun Jingyue high tech Industrial Development Zone. The street borders Sandao town of Erdao District in the East, Jingyuetan National Forest Park in the south, Xinlicheng town and Yutan town in the south, Yitong River in the West and Xingfu Township in Nanguan District in the west, and the ring expressway of 21st century square in the north and Changchun Economic and Technological Development Zone in the North. It covers an area of 52.7 square kilometers and has a resident population of 114594 (in 2010). It has 13 community residents committees including Jingyuetan, Caiyu, Hongqiao, xiaohetai, Xianfeng, Fuao, Zhonghai, Yuanding, Yinhu, liwang, Yongan, Huaye and Mingyue.

Historical evolution

Jingyue Street began to be called Jingyue District of Changchun City in 1949, changed to the seventh district of Changchun City in 1950, changed to Jingyue District of Changchun City in October 1953, changed to Jingyue township of Changchun City in July 1955, changed back to Jingyue District of Changchun City in 1956, and changed to Jingyue people's commune in suburb of Changchun City in September 1959. In 1966, according to the instructions of the provincial Party committee, the municipal Party committee assigned the suburban Jingyue people's commune to erdaohezi District, known as the red flag people's commune of erdaohezi District, Changchun City. In 1968, it was put under the management of Changchun Suburb, which was called Jingyue people's commune. In 1983, Jingyue commune was under the jurisdiction of Nanguan District of Changchun City, and was renamed Jingyue people's commune of Nanguan District of Changchun City. In 1984, it was renamed Jingyue Township, Nanguan District, Changchun City. In 1989, Jingyue township was changed into Jingyue town according to the document "reply on canceling the establishment of Jingyue town in Jingyue Township, Nanguan District" issued by the Department of civil affairs of Jilin Province. in 1995, it was put under the management of Changchun Jingyue Development Zone. With the rapid development of the Development Zone, the new urban area is gradually formed. In 1996, it covers an area of 43 square kilometers and has a population of 45000. The town government is stationed in zhaojiadian, and has jurisdiction over 10 administrative villages, including xiaohetai, Hongxing, Kaoshan, Ledong, Shuguang, xiaoheyanzi, Dayushu, fujiawafang, kaobianwu and Jingyuetan, and 7 neighborhood committees, including Xiaojie, Huacun, Dingjiagou, Linchang, new countryside, Tongyong and Huayuan road. At the end of 2005, five villages of Hongsheng, Hongfeng, Hongming, Xiaoheyan and Dayushu were assigned to Linhe street. In November 2001, with the approval of the Municipal Civil Affairs Bureau, the people's Government of Jingyue town was abolished and the Jingyue sub district office was established.
