Agriculture, forestry, animal husbandry and fishery have been developed in an all-round way, rich in rice, vegetables, fish, pigs, sanhuangji, star anise, silkworm, etc.; mineral resources include lead-zinc mine, limestone, iron ore, gold mine, granite, crystal stone. At present, there are 5 lean pig farms, 92 Sanhuang chicken farms, and 15 enterprises including porcelain factory, red brick factory, firecracker factory, lead-zinc mine, etc. There are 2 junior middle schools and 11 primary schools in the township.
