College of biochemical engineering is a comprehensive college which is oriented to modern urban industry, modern service industry and cultural and creative industry. It is mainly composed of engineering, engineering and management, engineering and art. The college mainly focuses on undergraduate education, carries out multi-level education, and trains a large number of applied senior professionals for the modernization of the capital. Located in Longtou District, Chaoyang District, the college has a beautiful campus environment, adjacent to Happy Valley, covering an area of about 120 mu, with a construction area of 53249 square meters. The college is composed of teaching building, experimental building, office building, canteen and multi-function hall, student apartment and stadium. All students can arrange accommodation, campus broadband network connected to the classroom, office and student apartment. At present, the college has more than 3100 full-time students, including the Department of information and control engineering, Department of biomedicine, Department of economic management, Department of engineering art, Department of engineering management, Department of public basic courses and Department of sports. There are nine undergraduate majors and four Higher Vocational Majors in the enrollment. Building environment and equipment engineering is a characteristic specialty in Beijing, building intelligent engineering technology and computer control technology are the pilot specialties of Beijing higher vocational education reform, building electrical and intelligent teaching and research section is an excellent teaching team in Beijing, pharmaceutical engineering is the backbone specialty, and bioengineering is the backbone construction specialty. There are 193 full-time teachers, including 14 professors, 72 associate professors and 24 doctors. Network multimedia teaching equipment covers almost all classrooms. The modern practice teaching center has advanced technology and well-equipped teaching and research facilities, which creates favorable conditions for students to improve their learning and practical skills. In the process of education and teaching reform and specialty construction, the college closely follows the needs of Beijing's economic and social development, pays close attention to the quality requirements of all walks of life for advanced application-oriented talents, establishes a good cooperative relationship with dozens of enterprises, and becomes a stable off campus practice base. At the same time, it organizes students to obtain technical grade certificates of relevant majors, so as to enhance students' employment competitiveness. Over the years, graduates have been welcomed by the society, and the employment rate of graduates has been maintained at more than 95%. In 2002, the college signed a cooperation and exchange project agreement (3 + 1 Bachelor's degree or 4 + 1 master's degree) with the University of Paisley (now the University of western Scotland), providing students with an international education platform. Students at different levels can study for bachelor's and master's degrees at the University of western Scotland. Both sides send teachers to each other, admit credits to each other, and jointly train professionals in biomedicine, economic management and international business. Every year, many students go to the UK to study and obtain degree certificates issued by the British government. College Students' life is rich and colorful. More than 20 student organizations, such as love society, self-discipline society and literature society, are good teachers and friends of students, creating favorable conditions for their all-round development. Through participating in the "Challenge Cup", mathematical modeling, electronic design competition, robot competition and other science and technology competitions, students' learning ability has been strengthened, team spirit has been cultivated, comprehensive ability has been improved, and they have won many awards at all levels in the competition.
