The basic action consists of "step forward, bend legs, jump and beat drum", etc. the basic formation includes clockwise circle walking, square array, tail swinging, oblique intersection, circular staggered transposition, spiral circle, horizontal arrangement, etc. each section changes a formation.

It shows the ancient and simple relic of primitive religious culture, and vividly reflects the religious beliefs, living conditions and aesthetic concepts of the local ethnic minorities. It has high historical and cultural research value. In recent years, due to the rapid changes in the social environment, the survival of this ancient dance style is in trouble, and there is a crisis of inheritance, which is in urgent need of protection.
