Tianjin emperor's Association is a unique Mazu ceremony in northern China, formerly known as "empress's Association" and "Queen's saint's Association". According to the folk oral tradition, this meeting originated in the yuan and Ming Dynasties. The recorded history began in the fourth year of Kangxi (1665) of the Qing Dynasty, and later renamed "Huanghui", which has been handed down to the present day. It is large-scale, with a strong local color of Tianjin, every time the emperor will, Tianjin Folk often go out, the scene is very considerable.

Huanghui is an organized, planned and strictly regulated form of temple fair. Its performances include Jingjie, menfan, Taishi, Jieshou, Zhongfan, kuagu, shouldering boxes, chongluo, shibuxian, FA Gu, Hanchuan, Yangge, Huagu, Xiuqiu, Baoding, baonian, luanjia, Jiexiang, dengting, Jiejia, Huagai Baosan, dingma, Baoshi Lingtong, Rizhou, dengfan, dalie, etc Dozens of stilts and so on, basically condensing the essence of Tianjin folk arts.
