Xinyi liuhequan, one of the traditional neijiaquan in China, is a treasure of Chinese martial arts. At the end of Ming Dynasty and the beginning of Qing Dynasty, He'nan Luoyang equestrian school received a hermit to teach this boxing. His proud disciple Ma Sanyuan was from Fancheng Town, Linying County, Luohe City. Therefore, this boxing has been handed down from generation to generation in Luohe and Zhoukou for hundreds of years.

The action of Xinyi Liuhe boxing is fast, hard and fierce. There is hardness in softness. The combination of hardness and softness has strong fighting ability. It has been regarded as a treasure by boxers for hundreds of years and has an important influence in the world.

There are two training methods of Xinyi liuhequan: fixed form and dynamic form. The main contents are: Xinyi Ba, ten shapes, four Chui, Liuhe Dao, Liuhe gun and so on. Xinyi liuhequan is characterized by simple movements and rich connotations. It integrates health preservation, fitness and combat. Children, adults and the elderly can benefit from it.

Due to the strict selection of apprentices and the lack of communication within the school, many old boxers died, and their boxing skills were lost and on the verge of extinction. It is urgent for the government and the people to take effective measures to effectively protect and inherit this ancient and excellent boxing. It is of great significance to excavate Xinyi liuhequan for carrying forward the traditional culture of Wushu, strengthening people's physique and prospering Wushu art.
