Jinqianban is popular in Bashu Han area. It was formed in Daoguang period of Qing Dynasty and has a history of nearly 200 years. At first, it was just a simple singing of "persuading the world", and artists chanted along the street in order to live. After continuous development and improvement, it gradually became an independent genre.

The money board is performed by one person, speaking and singing at the same time. While talking and singing, the actors hold the playing board in one hand, the floor and the panel in the other hand, and beat out various rhythm sounds through three bamboo boards to accompany the singing. Its singing style is distinctive and unique. It not only adopts Sichuan Opera tunes such as old tune, dog chasing sheep, fuguihua, hongnaiao, mantanghong and jiangtougui, but also absorbs Kunqu Opera, Sichuan folk songs, folk songs, Xiaoqu and Haozi. The lyrics are easy to understand and full of rhythm. There is no limit to the number of words in each sentence. There are many rhymes in the whole article, and there are occasional rhyming changes. The traditional performance repertoire of qianqianban is relatively rich, among which "Da Dong Jia Miao", "Da Dong Ting", "Da PI Lu Dang" and "Rouzhi Pei", "Furong Pei", "Longfeng Pei", "Jinchan Pei" and "Jiexiao Pei" are the classics, commonly known as "three Da five Pei". In addition, there are also a large number of representative works, such as naoya'an, biography of suspicion of poverty, LAN Dashun uprising, Wagang village, Baogong case, and biography of Shuoyue.

Qianqianban art is one of the carriers of Bashu history and culture, which contains the local customs and social features of Bashu region, and has certain cultural research value. At present, the money board is lack of successors, development stagnation, survival crisis, urgent need for rescue and protection.
