Fengnan town

Fengnan town is located in Fengnan District, Tangshan City, Hebei Province. It was established in 2004 by the merger of xugezhuang town and Yinfeng town. The total area of the town is 74.17 square kilometers, with 48 administrative villages, 12 neighborhood committees, 84736 permanent residents (in 2017), and 44300 mu of cultivated land. This is the birthplace of modern Chinese industry. As early as the Guangxu period of the Qing Dynasty, the first self built standard gauge railway in China, the tangxu railway, was extended here, and the first steam locomotive in China, the "dragon" locomotive, was born. "Torch" brand bristles with a long history were well-known overseas and became the largest bristle processing and export base in northern China.

Fengnan town is located in the hinterland of the double economic circle around Tianjin and Beijing and Bohai Sea.
