Xizhangpu town

Xizhangbao Town, belonging to Liquan County, Xianyang City, Shaanxi Province, is located in the northwest of Xianyang city. It is adjacent to Qiandong town in the East, Junma town in the south, Chengguan town in the West and Zhao town and Yanxia town in the north. Its total area is 46.53 square kilometers.

As of June 2020, it has jurisdiction over 12 administrative villages. As of 2018, the population of West Zhang Bao town registered residence was 26106. In 2011, the total agricultural output value of xizhangbao town reached 224 million yuan, the total industrial output value reached 460 million yuan, and the total social commodity sales reached 78 million yuan.

Historical evolution

In the middle of Ming Dynasty, the surname Zhang lived here. Because the castle was built in the west of ancient fire temple and Notre Dame Temple (commonly known as Shuanglian Temple), it was named xizhangbao.

It belonged to zhankou County in Sui Dynasty.

On May 18, 1949, after the liberation of Liquan County, xizhangbao belonged to the first district, Chengguan.

In January 1956, xizhangbao township was established (former fuguanzhai, Liulin, xizhangbao, jiangjunlu Township were merged).

In November 1958, it belonged to Junma commune.

In 1961, xizhangbao commune was established.

In 1984, xizhangbao commune was changed to xizhangbao township.

In October 1996, it was changed to xizhangbao town.

By the end of 2011, xizhangbao town had 19 administrative villages, including Dongliu, Xitu, Baicun, Beining, Zhangshi, Xinglong, Duanjia, Yancun, Xincheng, xizhangbao, Liulin, doufuliu, Zhouxing, Dongtu, Dongzhai, Pengwang, Nanzhai, Xiliu, Lujia, and 27 villager groups.

As of June 2020, it has jurisdiction over 12 administrative villages. The people's government is located in Xincheng village.

Xizhangbao town is located in the northwest of Xianyang city. It is adjacent to Qiandong town in the East, Junma town in the south, Chengguan town in the West and Zhao town and Yanxia town in the north. Its total area is 46.53 square kilometers.

Most of xizhangbao town is loess tableland, the terrain is slightly higher in the West and lower in the East. The highest point is Dongtu, 562m above sea level; the lowest point is Pengwang, 558m above sea level.

Water system hydrology

The groundwater reserves in xizhangpu town are rich, but the distribution is uneven, and the groundwater flow tends from northwest to Southeast. Jinghe River system is the main river in the territory, with a length of about 7.8 km. From the entry of Yancun village to the exit of Xinglong Village, it is converged into the second reservoir of Ganhe river. The normal flow of Ganhe river is 200 m3 / s.
