Nandian Town, belonging to Pingshan County, Shijiazhuang City, Hebei Province, is located in the north of Pingshan County, bordering tashang town of Lingshou County in the East, Lianghe Township in the south, Gangnan town in the West and Wangpo Township in the north, with an administrative area of 64.13 square kilometers. By the end of 2018, the registered residence population of South Dian town was 26736.

In 1949, it belonged to Nandian District of Pingshan County; in 1989, it was withdrawn from the district and merged with the township and set up Nandian town. As of June 2020, Nandian town has jurisdiction over 37 administrative villages, and the town people's government is located in Jiayu village.

In 2011, the total revenue of Nandian town was 715 million yuan, including 424.5 million yuan of national tax revenue, 150 million yuan of local tax revenue, and 220 million yuan of various deposits. In 2018, there were 17 industrial enterprises in Nandian Town, including 3 Enterprises above Designated Size and 11 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.

History of construction

In 1949, it belonged to Nandian District of Pingshan County.

In 1953, Nandian district was established.

In 1955, Nandian township was established.

In 1958, Nandian commune was established.

In 1983, it was changed to Nandian township.

In 1989, the district was withdrawn and the township was merged into Nandian town.
