Simajia town

Simajia Town, belonging to Huachuan County, Jiamusi City, Heilongjiang Province, is located in the southwest of Huachuan County, bordering Jixian County, Shuangyashan City in the East, hengtoushan town in the south, and Jiamusi suburb in the West and North. The total area of the town is 164 square kilometers. By the end of 2018, 20548 people registered residence.

The name of simajia town comes from the name of simajia village. Qing Guangxu 27 years (1901), built tun. In April 1956, Gongsheng township was set up. In September 1958, it was renamed Gongsheng people's commune. In March 1984, Gongsheng commune was divided into simajia and Yongsheng townships. The eastern part of the former Gongsheng commune is the administrative region of simajia Township, while the western part is the administrative region of Yongsheng township. In 2000, simajia Township and Yongsheng Township merged into simajia township. In February 2001, Yongsheng township was merged into simajia township. In 2013, the township was withdrawn to simajia town. As of October 2019, simajia town has jurisdiction over 17 administrative villages.

In 2018, there were 4 industrial enterprises in simajia Town, including 1 industrial enterprise above Designated Size and 51 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.

Historical evolution

The name of simajia town comes from the name of simajia village.

At the end of the Qing Dynasty and the beginning of the Republic of China (1912), it was subordinate to Xingli District of Huachuan County.

In 1945, it belonged to Huilong district.

In July 1950, it was renamed the second district.

In April 1956, Gongsheng township was set up.

In September 1958, it was renamed Gongsheng people's commune.

In 1960, the commune management committee was moved from gongshengtun to simajiatun.

In March 1984, it was divided into simajia and Yongsheng townships.

In March 1984, Gongsheng commune was divided into simajia and Yongsheng townships. The eastern part of the former Gongsheng commune is the administrative region of simajia Township, while the western part is the administrative region of Yongsheng township.

In 2000, simajia Township and Yongsheng Township merged into simajia township.

In February 2001, Yongsheng township was merged into simajia township.

In 2013, the township was removed to simajia town.

As of October 2019, simajia town has jurisdiction over 17 administrative villages. The people's government is stationed in simajia village.

Simajia town is located at 500m to the north of 14km from Jiamusi city to Tongjiang section of Tongsan expressway, 363km from hatong. Jiafu railway passes through the town to the north.
