Historical evolution
Yong'an formed a market town earlier. According to historical records, Yong'an was called Trojan horse town in the early years and Trojan horse post in the yuan and Ming Dynasties. It is said that this is the place where Zhuge Liang of the Three Kingdoms made the wooden ox and flowing horse. In fact, the wooden ox and flowing horse is what we call the "chicken bus". For thousands of years, it has become the most commonly used means of transportation in Bazi, Western Sichuan.
Yongan is also called fujiaba. It is said that 600 years ago, the "Fu family" migrated from Huguang province to settle here. They took farming and reading as their own duty, inherited from generation to generation, and regarded Jinjiang Shu as their second hometown. The Fu family name is really good, including Fu Shiwei, an academician of Guangxu academy, Fu Baochen, a modern "civilian educator", and many other bachelors. Such a family is respected by everyone in a prominent village. In addition, during the period of land privatization, the town was all located in the Fu family's land. With a long time, people naturally call it "Fu Jiaba"! According to the calculation, these Hakkas should be the earliest builders of "Huguang filling Sichuan".
Located along the fujiaba River, fujiaba has always been a wharf for water transportation from Chengdu to Jiading in Leshan. At night, hundreds of freighters often dock on both sides of the river, where boatman and trackers have a rest, thus creating a rich water culture. At the same time, due to the mixed flow of people, it also brings many hidden dangers to the local public security. Paoge gangs and social gangs often make trouble here. Yong'an style
After the revolution of 1911 overthrew the Qing Dynasty and established the Republic, the government of Lianbao was carried out to unify the people. At that time, there was Yongan camp of "Sichuan military government of the Han Dynasty" stationed here. Later, the township was named Yongan, implying that the people would be rich and healthy, and there would never be disaster.
On March 27, 1965, the 154th meeting of the State Council decided to abolish the establishment of Huayang county and merge it into Shuangliu County. On April 8, the people's Committee of Sichuan Province issued a notice of withdrawing and merging counties. On July 1, Huayang county was formally merged into Shuangliu County, with 18 communes (including Yong'an) and 3 towns under its jurisdiction merged into Shuangliu County.
In 1976, Honghua Township, Jitian District, Renshou County was designated as Shuangliu.
On October 10, 1992, Shuangliu County decided to carry out the adjustment of District, township and town organizational system. Yongan Township and Honghua Township were merged into Yongan Town;
In December 2013, the social management, public services and other affairs of 13 towns (streets) including Huayang and Zhengxing were managed and served by Chengdu Management Committee of Tianfu new area, while Yongan Town was still managed by Shuangliu.
In March 2016, Shuangliu district and Chengdu high tech Zone signed an agreement to jointly build Chengdu Tianfu international biological city. The biological city accounts for about 30 square kilometers of Yong'an town. Since then, the development of Yong'an town has stood at a new historical starting point.
