Akeli Township
Akeli township is a township under the jurisdiction of Jinchuan County, Aba Tibetan and Qiang Autonomous Prefecture, Sichuan Province. It is located in the northwest of the county, 38.1km away from the county government.
On June 8, 2020, Sichuan Provincial People's government put the administrative area of kasu village in akeli Township under the jurisdiction of dusong township.
General situation
It covers an area of 561.72 square kilometers and has a population of 1879 (2017). It has jurisdiction over Maori, dajinkasu, tiekisgol, akori, saerjiao, Jiake, Yisheng, keta, Rita and 7110 village committees.
Historical evolution
In 1960, akeli township was established; in the same year, the county state-owned ranch was built; in 1966, the township was withdrawn and merged into the state-owned ranch; in 1984, akeli township was rebuilt.
