Harmony Street
Harmony street is located in the northwest of Hangzhou City, starting from the tributary of the Beijing Hangzhou Grand Canal in the East, Moganshan Road in the west, adjacent to Xiaohe street with Zhaojiabang River in the south, and Xiangfu street with north bus station in the north.
Harmony street was founded in September 1983. Its address is located at 618 Moganshan Road. It is named after harmony new village in Hangzhou. It is Wenming street in Hangzhou. The street covers an area of 1.5 square kilometers and governs four communities, namely, harmony, Huafeng, Lijiaqiao and chemical fiber. There are 24800 permanent residents. Most of the residents are Han nationality and a few are Hui nationality.
On December 16, 2019, it will be included in the list of the third batch of smart health elderly care demonstration streets (towns).

Historical evolution
Harmony area originally belongs to Xiaohe street and Xiangfu town (in 2009, Xiangfu completed the removal of the town to build the street), with few people. After the founding of the people's Republic of China, Huafeng new village, chemical fiber new village, harmony new village, harmony courtyard and other residential areas have been built successively, with nearly 200 residential buildings. Among them, harmony new village is the largest, with 54 5-7-storey residential buildings, with a construction area of 140000 square meters. The living facilities in the new village are complete. There are flowers and trees on both sides of the houses and roads, so the environment is pleasant. Moganshan Road, heme road and Dengyun road are the main roads in the territory. Bus No. 15, 155, 313, 333, 516, 816 and 188 can reach the city center and West Lake scenic spot. To the north, it can reach Liangzhu and Pingyao in Yuhang District.
