Fraud in front of ATM

With more and more people using bank cards for transactions and consumption, the eyes of swindlers also began to focus on the ATM. We must be careful of the following common bank card fraud methods:

(1) There is a notice in front of the ATM: "please input the transaction password of the card when the ATM fails, and you can get the card back at the counter of the branch the next day.". This kind of ATM has been tampered with by criminals, it can't exit automatically after inserting the bank card, and it has a camera in the secret place. If the user really enters the password according to the prompt and leaves, the swindler hiding in the dark will immediately take out the bank card and take the money according to the password entered by the customer before.

(2) Unable to pick up the banknote at the banknote outlet: criminals use dim light to stick tape on the banknote outlet, but customers will not find it. They think it is a machine fault. When customers leave, criminals will take the opportunity to tear off the tape and take the cash.

(3) Take advantage of the opportunity to transfer: criminals deliberately ask whether a certain bank card can be used in ATM, and take out a card to compare with the customer's bank card, and take the opportunity to transfer.

Experts remind the majority of bank card users to pay attention to whether there are suspicious appendages around the ATM when operating on the ATM, and use hands to block when entering the password. In case of failure in operation, do not leave the ATM. You can call the customer service number of the bank or ask the bank staff for help.
