At the back of the temple, there are also scenic spots such as liangyuantan, Scripture worship platform, and stone wok. Walking along the mountain road at the east end of lianghuang temple for about 40 minutes, you can also enjoy many stone scenes in liangwangzan. At that time, Xu Xiake said: the peak is glorious, the water is even, the wood is beautiful and the stone is strange. Mountain torrential rain: when the weather is hot, the sea breeze from the southeast is blocked by the lianghuangqun mountains. The warm wind condenses into rain over the mountains and pours down. Therefore, there is often a scene of heavy rain pouring down the mountain, but the sky is still clear and sunny at the foot of the mountain.

Development history

Lianghuang Temple (formerly known as Chongfu Temple) is located at the southern foot of lianghuang mountain. It was built in the Wude period of Tang Dynasty (618-626) and changed into "Gongtai academy" in 1872. There are only three huts in the ancient Liangwang temple. Now the abbot monk Yuanzhong is building a big hall and other temples. At the back of the temple, there are scenic spots such as liangyuantan, sutra worship platform and stone wok.

It's about 40 minutes' walk up the mountain road at the east end of lianghuang temple. There is a small nunnery called Liangwang Zan on the mountain road. There are several rare bamboo clumps in front of the small nunnery. Wang Zan of Shangliang can see a lot of stone scenes, such as Yanmen, also known as "dongtianmen", which has the tendency of "one man is in charge of the pass, ten thousand people are not allowed to open". Together with Tiantai Chicheng mountain, Huangyan Yuxian cave and zhangan Baxian rock, they are called the "four great scenic spots" of ancient Taizhou. In addition, there are stone pagodas, longkouzhu and toad stone. These stone sceneries are exactly what Xu Xiake said: "the peak is glorious, the water is even, the wood is beautiful, and the stone is strange.".

From the west end of lianghuang temple, there is a highway leading to baniao mountain, which passes through wailiao village and liliao village. The words of emperor Liang said, "going up Liaodou across Changxiu" refer to wailiao village and liliao village. The first bridge that the highway passes through is built on feilonggou. After crossing the bridge, you can see Fulong cave. The water is as big as a dragon in the sky and the water is as big as a dragon in the sea. There are bats in the cave, so it is also called bat cave. According to the annals, this cave passes through Xinchang County, and no one knows its back. From liliao village to the north, you can see yeheqiu scenic spot.

Lianghuangshan, formerly known as "Tongbai mountain", is located in Qiantong Town, Ninghai County. It was named after Emperor Xuan of Liang Dynasty who lived in seclusion here to avoid the chaos of marquis Jing during the northern and Southern Dynasties.
