Chenjiagou is the birthplace of Chinese Taijiquan. It is located in the middle of Qingfengling, 5km east of Wenxian County, Jiaozuo City, Henan Province, formerly known as Changyang Village. During the Hongwu Period of Ming Dynasty, Chen Bu, a native of Zezhou, Shanxi Province, moved to the village. Because there was a deep ditch in the village, which ran north-south direction, the village was renamed Chenjiagou because of the Chen family's reproduction. Taijiquan Chen Bu is good at martial arts and good at martial arts. He once set up a martial arts club in the village, which started the practice of martial arts and dancing for generations. At the end of the Ming Dynasty, Chen Shi ninth Chen Wangting, based on his ancestral boxing, absorbed the essence of all kinds of excellent boxing, combined with guidance, Shu Shu and traditional Chinese medicine and meridian science, and created a new kind of internal strength boxing, named Taijiquan according to the meaning of yin and Yang conversion. Chen Changxing, the fourteenth generation of Chen family, opened the door to spread boxing. Yang Luban, a native of Yongnian, Hebei Province, was a famous apprentice. After that, Chen's Taijiquan gradually evolved into the national representative "Yang, Wu, Wu, sun" and other major schools.
