Ministry of national security: we should not only catch spies, but also "secret agents" and "money masters behind the scenes"

On the morning of June 18, 2021, Dong Jingwei, Vice Minister of the Ministry of national security, presided over a forum to study and implement the regulations on security and prevention of anti espionage, which came into effect on April 26 this year, and made arrangements for doing a good job in anti espionage and prevention of espionage.

The forum pointed out that the Party Central Committee attaches great importance to the work of national security and has made a series of important decisions and arrangements on anti espionage work. As the competent authority of anti espionage work, the Ministry of national security formulates and promulgates regulations, which is the practical need to prevent, stop and crack down on illegal and criminal activities endangering national security according to law, and is conducive to further compacting the responsibility of anti espionage security prevention, and better organizing and mobilizing the whole society to fight the "people's war" against espionage.

The forum stressed that to do a good job in anti espionage and anti espionage work, we should not only catch spies, but also "internal traitors" and "money masters behind the scenes". At present, the activities of infiltrating and stealing secrets by foreign spy and intelligence agencies and various hostile forces have increased significantly. In particular, individual personnel are willing to be "traitors" and secretly collude with overseas spy intelligence agencies and hostile forces to engage in Anti China activities; Individual personnel act as "behind the scenes money masters" and transfer funds to hostile forces through illegal channels to support Anti China activities. These "traitors" and "money masters behind the scenes" seriously endanger national political security and will eventually be nailed to the stigma of history. State security organs should adhere to the overall national security concept, take the opportunity of implementing the regulations, carry out in-depth anti espionage work, and unswervingly safeguard national security.
