Wu Yan
Wu Yan, Ph.D., Department of biology, Wuhan University, is currently professor of School of life sciences, Wuhan University. Her research direction is the study of cellular and molecular mechanisms of plant resistance to stress.
Main research fields and interests: To study the molecular mechanism of abscisic acid (ABA) signaling pathway. Objective to explore the interaction between ABA and other hormones, such as cytokinin and auxin, in the process of plant growth and development, and to study the cellular biological mechanism of ABA affecting the changes of plant cytoskeleton. To explore the spatiotemporal changes of cytoskeleton in response to ABA; to study the biochemical mechanism of DNA mismatch repair in plant cells. Supported by the general and major research projects of the National Natural Science Foundation of China and 973 Program of the Ministry of science and technology of the people's Republic of China. 16 papers were published.
