Beijing Vocational College of economics and technology

Beijing Vocational College of economics and technology is a full-time private college approved by Beijing Municipal People's government and put on record by the Ministry of education in March 2003. It participates in the unified enrollment within the national plan and has the qualification of independently issuing the college diploma recognized by the state.

The college has six departments. At present, there are more than 20 Higher Vocational Majors (or professional directions) in Finance (Commercial Bank direction), finance and securities, business English (preschool English education direction), marketing, international economy and trade, logistics management, tourism English, hotel management, computer application technology, accounting, news gathering and editing and production, hosting and broadcasting, etc.

The college is located in the National Economic Development Zone - Yanjiao Development Zone in Jingdong, near Tongzhou, Shunyi, Pinggu and other districts. The campus covers a total area of 336 mu, with a construction area of nearly 100000 square meters. Modern office buildings, teaching buildings, stadiums, libraries, student apartments, staff canteens, supermarkets, infirmaries and other teaching and living facilities are complete, creating good learning and living conditions for students.

In 2011, the college established a close cooperative relationship with Baoshang bank. Baoshang bank is one of the first seven commercial banks with the lowest risk assessed by China Banking Regulatory Commission. It has 14 branches and 105 business outlets nationwide. In recent years, Baoshang bank has received high attention and praise from the media.
