Wang Siji

Wang Siji, male, Beijing Opera teacher. He died on March 20, 2008 at the age of 63. Mr. Wang Siji is an expert in Peking Opera of Yu school, especially in singing. He has mastered the precise and profound rules and artistic resources of Yu school.

The origin of Art

The foundation of Mr. Wang Siji's Tan Yu was laid by chanbaofu, and later by Zhang Wenjuan and Zhang shaolou. Zhang Wenjuan's Yupai was taught by Chen Xiuhua, a well-known expert. He was also deeply influenced by Meng Xiaodong. Later, he asked Zhang Boju about his art for a long time. It can be said that he is the most authentic descendant of the Yupai professional actors in mainland China. Zhang shaolou's Yupai is Professor Liu Tianhong's, very regular. With such excellent teaching, Wang Siji naturally has a wealth of accurate indirect experience, and many years of teaching practice has enabled him to master a wealth of direct experience. Liu Zengfu once commented that Wang Si and the students he taught had "no problems". As Su Xuean, Liu Zengfu, Zhu Jiazhen, Wang Shixu, Yu Shiwen, Wang Zezhao, Cong Hongkui, Zhou Fujun, fan Shiren, Cai Guozhen, Li bingshen, Wu Xiaoru, Zhao Shiliang and other experts of Yu school are getting older and even die one after another, the important task of inheriting Yu school falls to a few people, among which Chen Zhiqing in the north and Wang Siji in the south are representatives.

Artistic contribution

Wang Siji preserved and inherited the overall style and features of Yu school art, explored the true meaning of the rules of Yu school art, and made a great contribution to the resurgence of Yu school art. He is the first hero of Yu school art that can still be carried forward in the overall downturn of Beijing opera art today.

He died in Huadong Hospital in 2008 at the age of 63.

Main disciple

Wang Siji's greatest contribution to the revival of authentic Yu school art is to cultivate Wang Peiyu. In recent years, Wang Peiyu's growing up has made him so popular that Mr. Wang Siji has made great contributions. Wang Peiyu's successful road provides a reference for the cultivation of the remaining talents. After that, young actors like Hu Xiaonan and Jiang peipeipei, who had good conditions, joined Mr. Wang Siji and took on the responsibility of inheriting Yu school.
