From the original "beating the stone, supporting the stone and leading a hundred animals to dance" to the later generations, the Chinese drum dance has always been in the same continuous line. There are various forms of Chinese drum dance, which are widely distributed. There are many kinds of dances. Among them, the more typical forms are waist drum dance, broken drum dance, flower drum dance, wood drum dance, long drum dance, flat drum dance, copper drum dance, dragon drum dance, fan drum dance, yellow mud drum dance, elephant foot dance, monkey drum dance, flower whip dance, bamboo drum dance, Bell Dance, sheep skin dance and so on.
Liulin flower drum is a kind of "GuZi Yangko". Its initial performance form is "Di Yangko", and then gradually evolved into "Zou Street Yangko". Liulin flower drum originated in the early Qing Dynasty. The story originated from the water margin. People disguised Song Jiang and Wu Yong as flower drum artists, robbed the Fachang to save Lu Junyi. The story combined with the local popular GuZi Yangko, became a fixed form of performance, and finally developed into a unique folk dance "Liulin flower drum". At present, it only exists in Liulin Town, Guanxian County, Shandong Province. The scope of performance extends to dozens of towns in Linqing and Liaocheng and Guantao in Hebei Province.
Liulin flower drum originally consists of two parts: the first part shows Liangshan heroes singing and dancing all the way into the city in disguise; the second part shows their fighting scenes of robbing the Dharma field to rescue Lu Junyi. Only the first part remains.
Liulin flower drum is a combination of dance and martial arts. It is both civil and martial arts, bold and bold, and hot. From an artistic point of view, Liulin flower drum has distinctive characteristics and unique style. It is unique in all kinds of "GuZi Yangko" and has strong local characteristics. It is a native folk art. Its lyrics are full of local people's slang, which is of great significance for the study of the development of local culture. Liulin flower drum enjoys a high reputation in Guanxian, and has always been the key program of Linqing temple fair in history. In the early days of the founding of new China, Liulin flower drum won the first prize in the East China folk art performance, and went to the front line of anti US aggression and aid Korea to perform. In recent years, the artist team of Liulin flower drum is aging day by day, the inheritance is facing crisis, the prospect is worrying, and it is urgent to rescue and protect.
