The main characteristics of she's clothing are most obvious in women's clothing. Since ancient times, she people regard women as princesses and phoenixes. Therefore, the clothing of She people runs through the whole body with the pattern of phoenixes. The headdress also shows the overall outline of phoenixes. The whole set of clothing embodies the auspicious meaning of Phoenixes everywhere, and is commonly known as "Phoenix Costume".

She women's clothing is mainly spread in all she natural villages in Luoyuan county and Lianjiang county of Fujian Province, and in Fuzhou and southern Ningde. It consists of seven parts: jacket, skirt, water towel, handkerchief, body skirt, foot tie and shoes. It also has six kinds of ornaments: Phoenix crown, earrings (earrings), flat buttons, bracelets, anklets and rings. Accordingly, she women's hair styles can be divided into three types: Maiden's hair style, betrothed or ready to be betrothed Maiden's hair style and married woman's hair style.

Huokou she women's clothing inherits the ancient style of late Yuan and early Ming Dynasty. It radiates to four areas and some towns, including Minhou, Jin'an, Lianjiang, Luoyuan Baita, Xilan and Feizhu, and has a great influence on the whole she area.

The female dress of She nationality in Huokou is the embodiment of the ancient culture of She nationality. It reflects the folk customs of She nationality and has high research value in folklore, sociology and history and culture.
