Wang's chiropractic therapy is a kind of traditional Chinese medicine health care therapy for spinal and brain diseases in Qing Dynasty. It integrates the traditional Chinese medicine internal and external treatment, eliminating pathogenic factors and strengthening the body, and mobilizes the body's self repairing function. It is a health care therapy of traditional Chinese medicine with the integration of prevention and treatment.

Wang's chiropractic therapy originated in Shunzhi (1644-1661) of Qing Dynasty. At that time, Wang Ruqing, a traditional Chinese medicine, joined the army to treat arrow injuries. Because of its high curative effect, he stayed in the palace and became a royal doctor. During the reign of Emperor Qianlong, Wang Zhaoen, a descendant of Wang Ruqing, was called to the palace to become a royal doctor. In the late Qing Dynasty, the therapy was scattered among the people. After the Republic of China, Wang's descendants continued to practice medicine, and his therapy was still inherited. At present, Wang Xingzhi is the 13th generation.

The treatment principle of Wang's chiropractic therapy is mainly acupoint selection along the meridians, drug penetration and massage. According to the principle of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM), "the channels are connected and the indications are in accordance with the body's yang meridians, supplemented by yin meridians". Through acupoint needling, we can achieve the purpose of "medicine in and evil out". In this therapy, bamboo pots made of bamboo are used as drug delivery tools. The efficacy of clearing heat and detoxification, dispersing wind and dehumidification of bamboo itself is utilized to achieve the best curative effect together with prescription drugs.
