Brief introduction of zhaoshutun and namunona
Applicant: Xishuangbanna Dai Autonomous Prefecture, Yunnan Province
Zhaoshutun and namunona are the most famous, excellent and widely spread love hymns of Dai people, which are widely spread in Xishuangbanna and Southeast Asia. It has a long history and many versions. It not only has oral rap Rhymes (long poems) and long prose stories, but also is used by folk painters as the creative theme of Buddhist murals and Sutra paintings. In some places, even lakes and ponds are named after the "Golden Lake" in zhaoshutun and namunona.
Zhaoshutun and namunona, recorded in Dai language and sung in Dai language, vividly portray the two perfect images of zhaoshutun and namunona, which represent the typical character of the Dai family and cherish the ideal pursuit of the Dai people, with the unique artistic techniques of the Dai people. Zhaoshutun and nanmunona not only focus on describing their external beauty, but also reveal their noble moral character of being loyal to love and loving their hometown. They praise their brave and indomitable spirit and embody the essence of Dai traditional culture.
Nowadays, there are few artists who can sing zhaoshutun and namunona completely. This ancient poem needs to be protected and rescued.
