Zongshizhuang town

Zongshizhuang Town, subordinate to Jinzhou City, Shijiazhuang City, Hebei Province, is located in the south of Jinzhou City, adjacent to Xinji City in the East, Yingli town in the south, Zhao county in the southwest, Taoyuan Town, donglizhuang town and Mayu town in the north, with an administrative area of 64.41 square kilometers.

In 1956, Zongshizhuang township was established as a township by withdrawing the district; in February 1985, Zongshizhuang township was established as a town by withdrawing the township; in 2006, it was merged with Hetou township. By the end of 2018, the total number of registered residence in ten Zhuang towns was 56681. As of June 2020, Zongshizhuang town has jurisdiction over 21 administrative villages, and the town people's government is stationed in Zongshizhuang village.

In 2011, the total revenue of Shizhuang town was 26.763 million yuan, including 8.823 million yuan of land tax, 17.09 million yuan of state tax, 840000 yuan of cultivated land occupation tax and 10000 yuan of deed tax. In 2018, there were 205 industrial enterprises in Shizhuang Town, including 20 Enterprises above Designated Size and 81 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.

History of construction

In 1956, the district was withdrawn and the township was established as the general Shizhuang township.

In August 1958, the general Shizhuang commune was established, belonging to Shulu county.

In 1962, Jin county, Shulu county and Shenze county were divided into Jin county.

In February 1984, Zongshizhuang township was established.

In February 1985, Zongshizhuang township was removed from township to town.

In 2006, it merged with Hetou township.

History and culture

In the Ming Dynasty, it was the general manager of the village. Later, it got its name because of the cross shaped street. The town is named after the village.
