Yuantou Town, subordinate to Zanhuang County, Shijiazhuang City, Hebei Province, is located in the south of Zanhuang County, adjacent to xiyangze Township in the East and North, Lincheng County of Xingtai City in the south, huangbeiping Township in the west, with an administrative area of 107.1 square kilometers.

After the Ming Dynasty, it became a natural town; in 1985, it withdrew the township and set up Yuantou town; in 1996, hujiaan Township and Shangma Township were merged. By the end of 2018, the number of registered residence in the town was 24892. As of June 2020, Yuantou town has jurisdiction over 28 administrative villages, and the town people's government is stationed in Yuantou village.

The local fiscal revenue was 3.46 million yuan, an increase of 4.2% over the previous year. History of construction

After the Ming Dynasty, it became a natural town.

In 1953, Yuantou township was established.

In 1958, it was changed into Yuantou commune.

In 1960, it was incorporated into Yuanshi County.

On January 1, 1962, Zanhuang county was restored to its original administrative region.

In 1984, Yuantou township was restored.
