Huamachi town

Huamachi town is a newly established big town, which is located at the junction of Ningxia, Inner Mongolia and Shaanxi. It is a suburban area. There are Guwang expressway, 307 National Highway, Yanxing highway and the China Pacific Railway to be built soon. It provides convenient transportation conditions and geographical advantages for the development of secondary and tertiary industries. The town has 3 offices, 24 administrative villages, 6 neighborhood committees, and a total land area of 1531 square kilometers, with a total area of 1 Population 59476 (2017).

In September 2018, huamachi town was selected into the demonstration construction list of strong agricultural towns.

Historical evolution

In 2003, Chengguan Town, Chengjiao Township, liuyangbao Township and chengxitan Diaozhuang were merged to establish huamachi Town, which was also included in gaoliwusu village of former subujing township. The total area of the town is 1029 square kilometers, with a population of 44762, mainly Han nationality. It has jurisdiction over 15 administrative villages, 6 neighborhood committees, and the town government is stationed in the former suburban township government. Attachment: Chengguan town is located in the northeast of Yanchi County. County Government resident. Yejun highway crosses the north. It belonged to Chengguan Township in 1949, suburban commune in 1958 and Chengguan town in 1967. In 1997, it covers an area of 3.7 square kilometers and has a population of 14000. It has jurisdiction over six neighborhood committees, namely Huayuan, Lingyuan, xiaojingkeng, Limin, Nanguan and Beiguan. Attachment: suburban township is located in the northeast, 1 km away from the county. Yejun road passes through. In 1951, it became a district. In 1958, it was changed into a suburban commune. In 1984, it was set up in a suburb. In 1988, it was set up in a township. In 1997, it covers an area of 480 square kilometers and has a population of 13000. It has jurisdiction over seven administrative villages, namely the Great Wall, Gouyan, tongjiquan, tianjizhang, tiandunzi, bachaliang and guojigou. It was abolished in 2003 and merged into huamachi town. Attachment: liuyangbao township is located in the north of Yanchi County, 11 kilometers away from the county. Yan (chi) Su (BU Jing) highway passes through the territory. It was a district in 1949, a suburb commune in 1958, a liuyangbao commune in 1976 and a township in 1984. In 1997, with an area of 418 square kilometers and a population of 9000, it has jurisdiction over seven administrative villages, namely liuyangbao, wanjigou, Shabianzi, Dongtang, maozhaizi, lijigou and honggouliang. Yanchi mechanized forest farm belongs to Horticulture Field and county belongs to sand control station. It was abolished in 2003 and merged into huamachi town.
