Jianye town

Jianye town is located in the southwest of Linghai City, Liaoning Province, bordering Bohai Bay in the south, Dayou economic zone and Yanjia town in the East, Shuangyang Town and Xinzhuangzi town in the north, niangnianggong town in Binhai New Area of Jinzhou across Xiaoling River in the West. The township governs 17 (14) administrative villages and 58 natural villages. There are 27080 residents (2017). The main ethnic groups are Han, Manchu, Hui, Mongolian and Korean. The town Party committee has 23 party branches with 997 party members.

Jianye town is 13km long from east to west, 15.5km long from north to south, with a land area of 156.79km2, all of which are alluvial fan plain of Xiaoling river. The area of cultivated land is 121000 mu, including 60000 mu of paddy field and 61000 mu of dry land (including 20000 mu of facility agriculture). The forest land is 7000 mu. The coastline is 11km. The length of Xiaoling river is 11km. The central village of the town government is 20km away from Linghai city in the north, 25km away from Jinzhou City in the northwest and 13km away from Jinzhou port in the southwest. Jinzhouwan International Airport is located in Hetun, Hadapu village, our town. County level highway Xingyan line and Shuanghe line are parallel, passing through the territory from the East and west respectively. The total mileage of town level highway is 54.852km, all of which are black pavement, and all villages will be connected in the 12th Five Year Plan period. The land, sea and air lines extending in all directions have convenient traffic conditions. Jianye town has a temperate marine climate with four distinct seasons and simultaneous rain and heat. The annual frost free period is about 183 days, the average annual temperature is 15 ° C, the average annual sunshine is about 2800 hours, and the average annual precipitation is about 660mm. The main crops are rice, corn, soybean, sorghum, coarse cereals, leek, tomato, melon, spicy green pepper, etc. The main types of aquaculture are pigs, cattle, sheep, layers, broilers, prawns, sea cucumbers, jellyfish and other marine products. The beach area is nearly 50000 mu, all of which are aquaculture ponds. At present, there are more than 200 aquaculture households with an area of nearly 30000 mu.
