Qingling Manchu Township is under the jurisdiction of Shuangcheng City. Located in the east of the city, it borders Wuchang City in the East and Southeast.
brief introduction
The township government is 22.5km away from the urban area. Qingling township is one of the earliest qitun areas in the Qing Dynasty. Among the 18 natural villages in the township, 11 are qitun, namely Zhengbai Qitou to Wutun, Xiangbai Qitou to Wutun and Xinzheng Lanqi to Wutun. After the founding of the Republic of China, it was under the jurisdiction of the seventh district of Shuangcheng county. In the late period of the Japanese occupation of Northeast China, it was divided into Renshou and Renyu villages. After the victory of the "93" Anti Japanese war in 1945, it was under the jurisdiction of the third district at the end of the same year. In December 1948, it was transferred to the eastern official District, and then to the third district. In March 1956, Qingling Township and Tuanjie Township were set up. In September 1958, Qingling people's commune was established. In the spring of 1984, it was changed to Qingling township. In February 1990, it was changed into Qingling Manchu Township. The Manchu population accounts for 38.8% of the total population of the township. Qingling township is flat, with some low-lying land, mostly black soil. The total area of the township is 97.73 square kilometers, with 103000 mu of arable land. The main crops are corn, soybean, millet, sorghum, flax, beet, etc. Township run industry has agricultural machinery repair, rice processing, brick factory. The township governs 13 villages, including Qingling, Wanmin, Wanxie, Wanxing, Yanfang, Yanjun, Qunxing, Yisheng, Qunli, Yili, Xingsheng, Qiyi and Qingbei. The permanent resident population was 12726 (2017), of which the Manchu and Mongolian minorities accounted for about 39%. The township government is located in Qingling village.
