Yuezhong township is located in the northeast of Yingshan County, Sichuan Province, with provincial highway S101 passing through. It is 73.18 km away from the county seat and covers an area of 30.15 square kilometers. It is adjacent to Shuangliu town and Liuhe Town of Yingshan County, and Jinshan, Longgang Town, Xinmin Town and Fulou town of Pingchang County of Bazhong City. It has jurisdiction over 10 administrative villages and 78 villager groups.
