In 1932, the Manchu Township in Yuantaizi belonged to Baita village in Xingcheng County; in January 1985, it was renamed Yuantaizi Manchu Township. By the end of 2018, the registered residence population of Yuan Tai Zi Manchu Township was 18157. As of June 2020, Yuantaizi Manchu Township has jurisdiction over 9 administrative villages, and the Township People's government is stationed in yaowangmiao village.

History of construction
In 1932, Manchu Township in Yuantaizi belonged to Baita village in Xingcheng county.
In 1948, it was the fourth district (in xiayuantaizi).
In 1958, it became Xingcheng commune.
In 1961, it separated from Xingcheng town and became Yuantaizi commune.
In 1983, it was changed to Taizi township.
In January 1985, it was renamed Manchu Township in Yuantaizi.
