Moli town

Moli Town, located in the southeast of Jiangxian County, is a mountainous agricultural town with seven mountains, two tombs and one branch of Sichuan, covering a total area of 152.46 square kilometers. There are 13860 mu of arable land, 76480 mu of grazing slope area and 102000 mu of forest land, most of which are primeval forests, with forest coverage rate of more than 60%.

Moli town has 12 administrative villages and 46 natural villages, including Moli, xiyaxia, Hewang, Guojiazhuang, Shijiazhuang, yuanzhiping, tanyuanhe, huimaling, jiaojiawa, pangjialing, yaositou and dongguanzhuang, with a permanent resident population of 8326 (2017). 5409 factory, a large state-owned enterprise, is located in Moli town. Qindong line and linyao line of provincial highway pass through the border, with convenient transportation.

In yuanzhiping, tanyuanhe, huimaling, Guojiazhuang and other villages in Houshan District of Moli Town, the mountainous area is large, and the wild Chinese medicinal materials are rich. The main varieties are Forsythia suspensa, Qingqiao, Schisandra chinensis, Taoren, dangshen, bupleurum, Acorus calamus, etc.

In recent years, the production of lime has become the main source of supply for iron and steel enterprises such as Linfen, Yicheng, Quwo and Yujin. The iron ore in huimaling village has great development value.

In houshanhui village, a large number of walnuts, mushrooms, edible fungus and pine seeds are transported and sold to all parts of the country every year; the ginger production base with xiyaxia village as the main Chinese herbal medicine has the characteristics of high yield and good quality, and a large number of loan sources are exported every year; the planting of 1000 mu seed corn makes Moli town the corn seed base of the county; the fruits are mainly high-quality nectarines, apples and fruits from Xiling village Some of them have great development potential.

Dialect vocabulary

The dialect of Northeast Chongqing means "what". Wushan is widely used throughout the territory, and it is used in most areas of Fengjie and Wuxi.

The rural infrastructure has been significantly improved. The rural power grid reconstruction project of tanyuanhe village and Guojiazhuang village has been completed; the town cultural complex building with a total of 300m upper and lower floors has been put into use; the Moli street reconstruction project with an investment of 5.8 million yuan has been put into use; the "one field and two rooms" of all villages have been put into use, and fitness equipment has been installed in the square; the tunnel hardening project has been solidly promoted. In the three villages of dongguanzhuang, pangjialing and jiaojiawa, 330000 yuan was invested to carry out the reconstruction project of 30 rural dilapidated houses.
