LIANSHANGUAN town
LIANSHANGUAN Town, subordinate to Benxi Manchu Autonomous County, Benxi City, Liaoning Province, is located in the south of Benxi Manchu Autonomous County, adjacent to Dandong Fengcheng City in the south, Liaoyang County of Liaoyang City in the West and Nanfen District in the north. It covers an area of 203.37 square kilometers. By the end of 2018, 13801 people had registered residence in Lianshan town.
In April 1946, LIANSHANGUAN district was established. On August 15, 1958, LIANSHANGUAN commune was established. In 1984, the town was changed. On June 29, 1985, it was renamed LIANSHANGUAN Manchu town. In September 1989, after the establishment of Benxi Manchu Autonomous County, it was renamed LIANSHANGUAN town. As of June 2020, LIANSHANGUAN town has jurisdiction over one community and seven administrative villages, and the town people's government is stationed in LIANSHANGUAN village.
