Langshan farm
Langshan farm is located 45 kilometers north of Linhe district and at the south end of Yinshan Mountain range. It is adjacent to Linhe District, Wuyuan County, wulatzhong banner and Hangjinhou banner. The black road runs through the farm area with convenient transportation and communication. It is subordinate to Bayannaoer Agricultural Reclamation Bureau.
Founded in 1952, the farm has experienced the historical evolution of Inner Mongolia reform through labor farm, Inner Mongolia production and Construction Corps of Beijing Military Region and state-owned Langshan farm. The total area under its jurisdiction is 127000 mu, including 60000 mu of cultivated land. The total population is 3492 (2010). The farm has 4 functional departments and 11 agricultural branches. There are two leading enterprises of hops baking and glue vegetable processing, one dairy farming community and one sheep breeding center. In 2005, the GDP was 14.83 million yuan, and the net income per worker reached 4061 yuan. Langshan farm is irrigated by the Yellow River, with superior water conservancy conditions and fertile land.
