Beishan street is named after Beishan and Beishan park.
In September 1938, Beishan station town was set up. In May 1946, beishanzhan town was changed to beishanbao. In 1948, beishanlu was replaced by beishanlu; in August of the same year, beishanlu was replaced by beishanjie.
In 1950, Beishan Street office was set up, belonging to Chuanying district.
