Kowloon Street
Jiulong street is under the jurisdiction of Luoping County, Qujing City, Yunnan Province. On October 20, 2013, Yunnan Provincial People's Government approved the removal of Jiulong Town to set up streets, which was formally established on December 19, 2013. It has jurisdiction over two communities, namely Niujie and Huangni, and 20 villages, namely Jiangbian, Guantang, Yide, kongga, DEDENG, Dumu, sazhao, Lazhuang, aye, bahong, Yihong, Feige, azhe, sheqia, zhaoshe, Qile, yitukuai, Haozhao, muqihei and legebi Committee. The street is 9 kilometers away from the urban area of Luoping County, with a total area of 323 square kilometers, a population of more than 50000 and more than 8000 ethnic minorities.
Jiulong street has convenient transportation, with new Jiulong highway and Luohuang highway passing through. It is rich in water resources, with three rivers of Jiulong River, Niujie River and kuanze river flowing smoothly, forming famous scenic spots such as Jiulong Caibao group, qianqiutian and Yangdong ruins. There are two largest county-level hydropower stations in China with an installed capacity of 60000 kW, namely, Lazhuang hydropower station and Yunnan Dazhai hydropower station. Unique geographical advantages, convenient transportation, rich water resources and abundant building materials have laid a solid foundation for the rapid economic development of Kowloon. Jiulong street has a maximum altitude of 1800 meters, a minimum altitude of 1200 meters, an average altitude of 1450 meters, and an annual average temperature of 15 degrees Celsius. It is suitable for planting rice, ginger and corn. It is the main rice producing area in the county and is known as the "land of fish and rice" in Luoping. the former Jiulong Town of Luoping County was merged with the former Alu township. on October 20, 2013, the approval of Yunnan Provincial People's Government on revoking the establishment of streets in 15 towns of Qujing City (yzf [2013] No. 77) approved the revoking of Luoxiong town and Jiulong Town. Luoping County abolished Luoxiong town and established Luoxiong street and Lashan street; Jiulong Town was abolished and Jiulong street was established.
