Lingwu farm is located in Lingwu City of Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region, located in Hedong irrigation area of Yinchuan plain. It is the first state farm in Northwest China established in 1950. Now it has been built into a large-scale agricultural enterprise in the autonomous region with the comprehensive development of agriculture, forestry, animal husbandry, sideline and fishery, the comprehensive management of agriculture, industry, commerce, construction, transportation and service, and the integration of production, supply and marketing, as well as the leading backbone enterprise of Ningxia Agricultural Reclamation.

Lingwu farm was the first state farm in Ningxia announced on December 1, 1950. It is located in the west suburb of Lingwu City and in the Hedong irrigation area of Yinchuan plain. The existing land area is 63.3 square kilometers, including 62000 mu of cultivated land, 3500 mu of orchard and 320 mu of woodland. It has a total population of 9949 people (in 2010), an annual output of 40 million kg of high-quality grain and 50000 live pigs. In 2007, it completed a total industrial and agricultural output value of 217 million yuan, realized a business income of 164 million yuan and an average job income of 10561 yuan.

It is rich in rice, wheat, malting barley, corn, oil sunflower, hops, fruit, feed, milk, rice, flour, cooking oil, beer, fresh pork and cooked meat series products. Ningshen brand series beer and northwest malt won the title of famous brand product of the autonomous region and national excellent product in 1995, recommended as China's famous brand product by the Ministry of internal trade in 1996, and ISO9002 in April 1999 International quality certification, in March 2000 by ISO9002 international product certification. Lingwu Farm Transportation Road thoroughfare, 40 km away from the capital Yinchuan City, Hedong airport 27 km, Yinling Wu highway and 307 National Highway run through the whole site. The climate is mild, the environment is beautiful, the communication is developed, the infrastructure is complete, the specialty is rich, the agriculture, forestry, animal husbandry and sideline are developed in an all-round way, and the agriculture, industry, commerce, construction and service are managed in an all-round way. The farm has agriculture, garden and animal husbandry companies (Ningxia Lingnong Animal Husbandry Development Co., Ltd.) and a public service center. At present, it has a modern pig farm with 10000 pigs, two mechanized dairy farms with 700 and 1000 adult cows, a feed processing plant with an annual single shift output of 30000 tons of full price formula feed, a joint meat factory with daily slaughter of 200 pigs and refrigeration of 50 tons of pork, a steel window factory and a repair factory. It mainly produces rice, wheat, barley, corn and its seed production, Korean Daming pepper, oil sunflower, all kinds of fruits, feed, milk, fresh pork and other agricultural and sideline products.
