Jidian Township

Jidian township is located 3 kilometers northwest of the county, with a straight-line distance of no more than 7 kilometers from the urban area. It is a typical urban-rural fringe. It is adjacent to Changping Economic Development Zone in the East, Changzhi suburb in the west, Longquan town in the south, Miaozhuang town and Qingyang Town in Pingshun County in the north. Chang'an expressway, Zhongnan railway, Huguan connecting line of Shangdang town group road network, Changzhi connecting line of Ring Expressway crisscross in the territory, which is convenient for entering and leaving the city, and the traffic is very convenient. In the 12th Five Year Plan, Jidian township is listed in the county planning area, established as the North Industrial Park, and is an important part of Shangdang town group. Historical evolution

According to the records of Huguan county annals, as early as 10000 years ago, there was human reproduction in the area under its jurisdiction. In the first year of Liu Bang (206 BC), the king of Han Dynasty, Huguan county was established, and it has been subordinate to Huguan county. From 1949 to 1952, it belonged to four districts. It was changed to Jidian Township in 1953. In 1956, Jidian township was abolished and Xizhuang township was established. In 1958, the Red Star people's commune was established in Xincun. The next year, it was called Xincun people's commune, which was located in Xizhuang village. In 1961, when the administrative division was adjusted, 14 administrative areas were set out to form Xizhuang people's commune, and the administrative areas were also renamed production brigade. In 1981, the residence of the commune was moved to Jidian village, still known as Xizhuang people's commune. In June 1984, Xizhuang people's commune was renamed Jidian Township, which governs 14 administrative villages. In December 2000, the township was withdrawn and merged into Jidian township. Changping village, Wangzhang village, yanjiahe village, huangjiaotou village and Wangjiahe village were included in Changping economic development zone. In April 2006, Hekou village and lizhang village were included in Changping economic development zone. There are Shizi River and Baiquan River in Jidian township. Shizi River belongs to Zhuozhang River system. It is a seasonal rainstorm river. It originates from the northwest of ankouling, Shipo Township, flows through Jinzhuang, Longquan and Jidian townships, and flows into Shizi River Reservoir in Changzhi City in the south of dongchangjing village, Jidian township. It has a total length of 26 kilometers, a drainage area of 193.5 square kilometers and a runoff of 4.36 million cubic meters. Baiquan River belongs to Zhuozhang River system, which is a rainstorm type mountain river. It originates from Xizhuang area of Jidian Township, flows through the whole township of Jidian Township, leaves the country and flows into huangniuti reservoir of Lucheng city. It has a total length of 7.5 km, a drainage area of 52.25 square kilometers, and an annual runoff of 1.5 million cubic meters. Jidian deep well is located in the east of Jidian village, Jidian Township, hence its name.
