Bazhu Township
Bazhu Township, a township under the jurisdiction of Huan County, Qingyang City, Gansu Province, is located in the southeast of Huan County, bordering Wujiao Township and Baima township of Huachi County in the East, Quzi town in the south, mubo town in the West and Fanjiachuan Township in the north. The administrative area is 341.20 square kilometers. By the end of 2018, the population of eight Zhuxiang had 13202 registered residence.
In June 1950, Quzi county was abolished and transferred to Huan County. In April 1958, Bazhu township was established. In October 1958, Bazhu commune was established. In December 1983, the township was changed. As of June 2020, Bazhu township has jurisdiction over 10 administrative villages.
In 2011, the total revenue of Bazhu township was 3.943 million yuan, an increase of 26.3% over the previous year. The local fiscal revenue was 723000 yuan, an increase of 138.3% over the previous year. From the perspective of major taxes, the business tax is 131000 yuan and the income tax is 9117 yuan. The per capita fiscal revenue was 310.8 yuan, an increase of 26.4% over the previous year. In 2011, the total agricultural output value was 81.46 million yuan, an increase of 5.6% over the previous year. In 2018, Bazhu township has 7 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.
History of construction
In June 1936, Bazhu district was established, belonging to Quzi county.
In June 1950, Quzi county was abolished and transferred to Huan County.
In April 1958, Bazhu township was established.
In October 1958, Bazhu commune was established.
In December 1983, the township was changed.

By the end of 2011, Bazhu Township had 10 administrative villages: bazhuyuan, Caoyuan, wadaoxian, xingshugou, tarzui, malianzhang, fengjiawan, gouyuan, qiubagou and Baiyuan, and 57 villager groups. The people's government is stationed in bazhuyuan village.
As of June 2020, Bazhu township has jurisdiction over 10 administrative villages: bazhuyuan village, caoliyuan village, wayaoxian village, xingshugou village, taerzui village, malianzhang village, fengjiawan village, gouyuan village, qiubagou village and Baiyuan village.

Bazhu township is located in the gully region of the residual tableland of the Loess Plateau, in which there are three large residual tablelands and the others are gully regions. The terrain is high in the north and low in the south, high in the East and low in the west, with an average altitude of 1350 meters. The highest point is located in gaoshanzi, 1643 meters above sea level; the lowest point is located in Lijiagou.

Bazhu is a semi dry and early climate of temperate continental type, characterized by windy spring, high temperature in summer, rainy autumn and cold winter. The average annual temperature is 8.8 ℃. The annual average frost free period is 145 days, and the annual average precipitation is 470 mm.
hydrology
The river course in Bazhu Township belongs to Malian River system. Taking the middle part of the township as the watershed, the river flows into Anshan River and Huanjiang River in the west, and Yuancheng River and Malian River in the East, with a total length of 62 km.
