Xiqu Town, subordinate to Minqin County, Wuwei City, Gansu Province, is located in the northeast of Minqin County, adjacent to Donghu town and Shoucheng Township in the East, Quanshan town in the South and hongshaliang Township in the West. It is 61 kilometers away from Minqin County, 35 kilometers from the east to the West and 25 kilometers from the north to the south, with an area of 331.54 square kilometers. During the Han Dynasty, Xiqu town belonged to Wuwei County. In 1947, Xiqu township was established. In May 1985, Xiqu township was changed to Xiqu town. As of June 2020, Xiqu town has jurisdiction over 2 communities and 33 administrative villages.
